Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications at The College of Saint Rose
Jennifer Gish left a 20-year career as an award-winning newspaper journalist in 2017 to lead marketing efforts at The College of Saint Rose, a private college in Albany, New York, out of a strong belief in the power of higher education as a transformational tool and key to upward social mobility. She leads a team of 10 marketers, who have received numerous honors from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Before coming to Saint Rose, the first-generation college student was a senior editor at the Times Union, also in Albany. Gish holds degrees in journalism and women’s studies from Pennsylvania State University and is currently a student in the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) master’s degree program at West Virginia University. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and has served as a contest judge for the CASE Circle of Excellence Awards. Outside of her role at Saint Rose, she is the mother of 13-year-old twins and the founder of Strong Through Every Mile, a nonprofit organization that empowers survivors of domestic abuse through the sport of running.
