Dwayne Waite Jr has a diverse range of work experience. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Warehouse Assistant at Record Storage Depot/Shred Depot. Dwayne then became the Vice President of Professional Development at the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Red F and also served as an Official at SportsLink Charlotte. From 2009 to 2012, Dwayne worked as the President and Principal at JDW: The Charlotte Agency, a full-service IMC agency. Dwayne then became a Lead Blogger at Talent Zoo's Beyond Madison Avenue, writing about advertising and marketing trends from 2011 to 2016. Dwayne also volunteered as a business mentor at Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week in 2009, teaching students about free enterprise and ethics. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Teacher of CTE and Marketing at William A. Hough High School. In 2016, they joined Schell Games as a Marketing Associate and eventually moved up to the positions of Senior Marketing Associate and Marketing Manager before leaving in 2023.
